As a student of at The University
Of Manitoba, I received a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 1998
and a Master of Architecture in 2004. My course of study included
the 1997 Studio D'Italia and the NAFTA Tri-Lateral Design Exchange
in 1999. In addition to my studies, I lectured as an Adjunct Professor
from 2000-2004 in the Enviromental Design program, specifically
in graphic communications and computer aided design.
In 2000 I began Crucial Perception as an illustrator of architecture
projects and have worked with architects from across western Canada
and the United States. My work has been published nationally and internationally over the
years including:

Architects in Grand Forks, ND as a project designer from 2005
to 2008, I gained project experience in every aspect of design,
bidding and construction administration. I assited senior designers
and architects on residential, academic, institutional and retail
projects of many scales. From 2006-2008, I coordinated the design,
construction documents and construction administration on the Grand
Forks Public Safety Center - a 30,000 sf training facility and Emergency
Operations Center for North East North Dakota.
I am currently employed by the Freelon
Group in Durham, NC. where I have been extensively involved
in the programming documentation for the National
Museum of African American History and Culture. Other current
project work includes conceptual design for the Lucy
Craft Laney Museum expansion, Shire Pharmaceuticals design competition,
Center
for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta and the Smithsonian Institution's
National Museum of African American Culture and History in Washington
DC.
